SYKTYVKAR FANERNY ZAVOD, LLC (Plywood Milling Factory) is the largest Russian manufacturer of wooden-plated materials.

The quality of large-format plywood and furniture boards of wood, produced in the capital of Komi, is highly regarded not only in all of Russia - the company's products are supplied to more than 60 countries for the leading construction companies and furniture manufacturers.

The history of the plant began in 1976, when a workshop for production of chipboard was launched at the Syktyvkar woodworking plant. From the very beginning, it was premised on producing high quality products, using technologically advanced equipment from Germany, Japan, Finland and Switzerland.

In 2001, an independent enterprise was established, specializing in production of high-quality large-format plywood and furniture-quality chipboard.

In 2004, the first chipboard lamination line was installed at SFZ, and in 2008 - the second one.

Syktyvkar Plywood Plant has registered trademarks: in 2005 - «SyPly» for plywood.

In 2007 - «Lamarty» for laminated chipboard.

«SyPly» has become synonymous with quality and reliability in the global marketplace. «Lamarty» laminated chipboard has become recognizable in the furniture market, thanks to a wide range of exclusive decors, unique embossings and the high quality of baseboard.

Currently, the plant is a high-tech production facility, the products of which are recognized annually in the contest «100 best goods of Russia», and meets the requirements of the most demanding consumers both in Russia and abroad.

Figures and facts:

- 220 thousand m3 of plywood of huge assortment;

- 300 thousand m3 of laminated chipboard of different decors and unique embossings are produced at the plant per year.

An extensive production experience, the use of high quality materials and latest technologies, ownership of proprietary brands, which are recognized at the international level.

Syktyvkar plywood plant was awarded the «Leader of Economics Certificate» for superiority in the industry and the development of the Russian economy. It was also awarded 3rd place among more than 600 thousand companies of the Russian Federation.

Confirmed by Rosstat figures and the audit of OKVED rating 16.21.1 «Production of plywood, wood veneer panels and similar layered materials, wood boards from wood and other wood-based materials».

The LLC «Syktyvkar Plywood Mill» was recognized as one of the twelve best environmentally responsible enterprises of Russia, and the only one in the woodworking industry. It was awarded the «Best Environmentally Responsible Enterprise in the Region in 2013» nomination and the Gold Medal from «RosPromEco-2013».

The award is yet another recognition of the Company's high environmental standards in ensuring environmental safety of its operations and waste disposal: more than a third of emissions into the atmosphere have been reduced, waste disposal to landfill has been eliminated, energy consumption from external sources has been reduced, while providing and ensuring complete safety of employees' work, and product quality has been improved - the Syktyvkar Plywood Plant's chipboard has no analogues in Russia in terms of formaldehyde emissions of the type E0.5.

One of the advantages of «SFZ» LLC is its highly qualified staff of over 1500 people. Due to competent management, marketing and the availability of a comprehensive computer network that unites all the structures of the plant, effective management and control of production and sales activities are ensured.

The largest dealer network among Russian woodworking enterprises allows delivering plywood products to the leading construction organizations in more than 60 countries, and laminated chipboard - to the largest furniture manufacturers in Russia and the CIS countries.
